The element was exactly what I needed. The installation was a little tricky for me, but I got it in. I'm delighted to have been able to install it myself which saved me a lot of money. Plus, I get to keep my 10+-year-old oven which I know is a lot better quality than the new ovens. Lastly, the price was great!

This new heating element works perfectly and fits perfectly! Super easy to replace, if you disconnect the part from the back of the unit rather than from the inside. I ordered directly from GE parts to make sure to get a genuine replacement. Now, my oven works even better than before!

It's a pain learning a lesson the hard way. Purchased an element via the swoosh only to find out the terminals were not on center with the mount holes in my oven. Second purchase was thru GE - perfect fit. Good glow thru the entire element. Well worth the premium price after the swoosh.
