Overall, I am very happy with the performance of the Speed Queen. The only thing that I would mention is a downfall is the sound; it is very loud. But it is way better than any other machine I have purchased in the past 15 years. I am anxious to see how long it will last.

Good, basic dryer. Faster than previous dryer. Like the front lint trap rather than pull out screen tray. Less debris falling back into dryer innards. Our dryers get daily use. Hope it lasts 10 years for the price.

Metal parts and full size agitator

I like the machine in general but dislike that you cannot pick the size of your load. With only 2 people to wash for I have small loads and the smallest amount of water I can get is 3/4 of a tubful. We have a septic tank and well water and like to be able to conserve water. To do this I have had to go to washing every two weeks and this makes it more difficult to get clothes clean as my husband works on machinery in his shop and has a lot of grease and dirt ground in. Also have not been able to extend wash time without the presoak cycle.

We owned a deluxe Maytag washer & dryer for approximately 36 years and only 2 service calls during that time. I wasn't sure what brand to purchase when they gave up just before Christmas in 2024. Our service representative who services any major appliance we own recommended this as "the only brand to buy" and purchased these exact models this year. himself this last year. We valued his recommendations and wasn't disappointed. These are the best! I love the various features on the washer and ease of using. It is also Energy Star rated. Love how quickly it washes a cycle, clothes are clean and the machine is durable. I am giving it only 4 stars because we have had multiple times where it would not continue a cycle because of a heavy sweat shirt or a few jeans and we would have to unplug it because it would not cancel to restart it. We've only had the machine a couple of months, hoping that it last longer than our Maytag. When you learn how much clothing you can put in the machine, and it doesn't stop refilling, it's a great machine!

I received my TC5 for Christmas and it was better than I expected. My clothes come out cleaner than ever, the cycle is so quick I can do multiple loads in one day. I don't know how I made it without this washer for so long. After 35 years of purchasing washers, this Speed Queen is the best one I've ever had. The extra money you spend is well worth it. It simply has two buttons and a few knobs, fills completely with water, takes around 20 minutes to wash a load of clothes, and the lid doesn't lock. It also comes with a 5-year warranty. My only regret is that I didn't buy one sooner. The top load speed queen with agitator is something I really recommend. In addition, the business from which I bought it promised to lend me another washer in the event that this one ever has to be repaired. That indicates that they receive zero service calls for this brand; otherwise, they wouldn't be in business.I'm a very satisfied client and will continue to buy Speed Queen washers.

This is by far the best washing machine I've ever bought. We replaced our LG front-load "HE" washer because it wouldn't adequately clean our clothes. As a result, we started searching for a washing machine that went back to form in terms of actually filling the drum with water and actually providing hot water. Needless to say our clothes have been washed better.

This machine harkens back to the "old days," when appliances were often kept until the owners had no use for them. Does it lack some of the new features of the newer machines? Sure it does, but to be honest, we have never used any features outside of the same ones the TC5 offers. it washes our family's variety of clothes without issue or concern and with the likelihood that it will wash my future grandkids' clothes as well. We've had it for about a month and love it! We do wish the tub was offered in a bigger model though, albeit only to wash king size comforters once in a blue moon. But if you're reading this to decide to buy, do it! You won't regret it.

Dents inside and out, expected better.

We decided to spend the extra money and avoid many of the pitfalls of imported brands. One dent on the outside of machine, one dent on the inside of washer tub. Both were concealed damage, no scratches, marks, etc. just dents. The packaging was somewhat caved in on top as it appears to have been on the bottom of additional machines warehoused/stacked on top. The outside dent is hidden by a wall once placed into position. Hoping the mechanical quality and longevity are better than the quality control of the finished product. Three star due to dents, and not knowing if the machine will last until the passage of time. The matching Dryer was received w/o any issues. Will not recommend to a friend, can live with the dents but our confidence is now less on having any idea of long term performance.

Now This is an Old School Washing Machine

The unit is built extremely well. I was torn between the TR unit and the TC. One reason was the TR is a quiet running machine in comparison. I wanted the option agitating the water as I grew up with, know this will get those tough stains out of my clothes. I am please to admit the noise is not bad at all. I do suggest getting the knobs vs. push button controls. I paid the extra to have the unit delivered and installed. They will make sure it is leveled, balanced well and even will run a quick wash test to be sure. I have to admit the run cycle time is so much shorter that I previous washer.

Washer so loud when it spins u can hear it outside

Had repair come out (which was a slow and bad experience) and it wasnt fixed and instead of coming back they are making me start over…… we should get a new machine. The dryer only dries Good on timed dry….. disappointing
