Error code and preheat

This oven came with the new home I just purchased so I had no choice. When trying to preheat the oven I keep getting this code: F8E0 Upper Cool Fan Speed and at the bottom of the code there is an "okay" button. I hit the okay button and it goes away but it pops up again in a few seconds. I do this at least 5 times until it no longer pops up. I called Whirpool and went to chat. The gal could not answer my question. What kind of chat is that?
The other issue I have is that it takes forever to preheat even with the rapid preheat button. If I had a choice I would get rid of this oven!

Oven is sufficient for a couple. Cooks evenly and size is not an issue. In use as a stackable with a microwave. All features are touch. However, timer is not the greatest.

The touch screen is in a horrible place. You have to lean over to see it unless you have a wall mount. Mine is under the cooktop. You have to just tap the screen to get it to respond. Too much pressure or too little pressure and it doesn't respond. The settings are not intuitive - like having the clock reset under cook times. Enclosed bottom element is nice for cleaning small spills. It's just an ok appliance put in by the builder. It does heat exactly on temp without calibrating and I like that it shows the current temp on the screen.

I'm a researcher. I check tons of reviews, visit stores to see how the product looks in person and feels, and compare to other brands for features and costs. I thought this oven would give us the best features for what we wanted in an oven and price point. I was wrong. This oven has given us nothing but problems from the day of installation. The fan has gone out twice needing total replacement, each time we had to wait for the part to be ordered and have a technician fix the oven. The touchscreen went blank on another occasion requiring another wait of two weeks, then the wrong part was sent. It took over two months just for me to be able to use a brand new oven. Now that I've been able to use it I've noticed it is extremely loud. I am unable to open the door to vent it after cooking because the fan screams when doing so. The touchscreen is terrible. Anytime the oven is opened the steam causes the screen to turn off or reset the temp and I have to reprogram or restart the oven. If I forget to do that whatever is in the oven is trash. The smart program features are only good for frozen items. While I realize that I can go through and add my own favorites I feel standard items such as roast or cake are pretty common. My previous 20 year old JennAir even had that feature. The only thing I'm happy with and was one of the selling points is the large window. I guess if i was just buying an oven to look at this would be the one. But I'm an avid baker and a person who loves to cook, great disappointment with this purchase. I dislike this oven so much that with only a few real months of being able to use it, I'm am out the money and looking for a real oven that will suit my needs. I've learned my lesson with Whirlpool ovens, never again.

I bake at a lot. I hate this oven. The touchscreen is hard to negotiate. The oven shuts off and on. Cooks different if you use the timer. The screen is Crazy confusing and the sound levels are to quite. There is nothing about this oven that I like! Well maybe the look of it?

We got this oven with our new house. Overall it's been a dependable appliance. However we are already talking of eventually replacing it simple because the touch screen is very inconsistent and difficult to use. More often than not it is unresponsive and we have to press it several times before it responds. This may not matter once we get it set up on the WiFi, but for now it's incredibly annoying.

Very disappointed that it has already broken 2X. We have been using the past 2 months and it broke. Notice difficulty using the touch screen. After getting the front panel replaced, used it on first day and broke again.

It seems to cook fine, but this oven takes way longer to heat up than our previous 20 year old GE oven. The fan is quieter, but sounds a bit odd, like it could give out at any minute. Also the tape marks on the front from the packaging didn't come off. Kinda disappointed.

I had the same oven for 23 years, which was my mother-in-laws for God knows how long before that. I am still getting used to it but so far I love it. I do have to adjust my cooking times though, it seems to take a bit longer to cook. For instance I made some break and bake cookies and the baking time said 11-12 minutes. I had to bake them for 14-15 minutes. Baked potatoes took a little longer too. But I can adjust to that.

I was so happy that the oven repair man told us that the module is broken and they don't make them any more, well after 15 year we got rid of the oven. Thats when we found a smart whirlpool oven. The display is large and easy to read we really love it

This oven came with the house. The time on the clock is always changing . It does not keep time. The customer service stated we needed to get onto wifi. This was the next challenge to get through. I want ease of use not more headachs

Recently purchased and find this wall oven great size, working great. Have two suggestions for improvement: racks should be made to withstand cleaning in oven. I always take one rack out so I only have to hand clean one rack. Also, the temp is very small, image of door large? Should find another way to indicate door open, larger temp.

We have found the user interface to be quite difficult to navigate, especially with mundane issues such as setting the time after a power outage. As well, the response time when changing screens seems excessive. Additionally, the time it takes to come up to requested temperature is overly long. Even though it has an ability to 'speed heat', that option requires the user to remove the racks while in that mode. Seriously? And finally, when the unit was initially installed, it worked for a few days, then failed due to a computer malfunction. Then it took two weeks to get the replacement front panel in for a repair. Not a good combination of issues to deal with, and it's only been installed for two months.

This oven came with the purchase of our new home. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was Wifi enabled and I could start preheating the oven on the way home from work. The app works well so far and I pretty much exclusively set temperatures and timers from my phone now. I took off two stars because it vents heat to the floor.
Anytime I set the oven over 400 degrees, the floor will get heated to the point where I am concerned that the flooring directly below the oven will be damaged over time. Additionally, the metal at the bottom of the oven near the exhaust gets hot enough to burn your hand or ankle. I am concerned when my nephew comes to visit that he may be susceptible to injury. I don't know what previous ovens I owned did differently but this is the only one I have ever noticed this level of heat being blown onto the floor.

The oven has a clean design with plenty of interior room. It has WiFi features so can be controlled from your phone and can notify you of events like pre-heat done. WiFi was not a feature we particularly wanted so this was a sort of nice-to-have addon for us. It all sounds could be the touchscreen is small, the text is relatively small which is a bit of an issue given ours is mounted on the floor. Really have to bend over to look at it unlike some other ovens. Worse yet is the touchscreen sometimes ignores touches. Occasionally it takes 2-3 tries to get it to accept input.
