I bought this refrigerator because my previous French Door had just become unbearable to use. The tracks had broken and the bottom rack as well. The water line had also failed. The deli tray hood had also seen better days. With this in mind I opted to go with something less showy and more on the simple side less things to break in my mind. We live in an area with ninety to one hundred plus degree weather in warmer months so an ice maker was a must. I still havent figured out how to arrange everything. there arent any places for butter or deli meats the shelves dont adjust except for the top one. The shelves are deep so it makes it difficult to find things in the fridge. I have purchased trays to try to organize my meats and cheeses but it is still not how I like it. I told my kids the other day that if I could return it I would get another one with more drawers and definitely a deli tray. i would just have to spend more money for better quality refrigerator. On a recent heat wave we ran out of ice with only four people in the house so I need an Ice maker that produces more.

I like the refrigerator. It has a lot more room than my last one that the French Door one. My only thing is that is was supposed to be fingerprint resistant which I paid more for but it definitely isnt. I am constantly cleaning it because of the fingerprints from my grandkids and others in the house.

Bought my LG refrigerator 8 months ago and I am not impressed. The freezer door builds condensation which freezes. The ice maker began making noises 2 months after purchased and eventually quit making ice and dispensing water. After 3 calls and many resets a technician was approved to fix. Technician didnt have any parts so after a month since my first call I am still without ice or water. The model I originally chose was back ordered so I ended up with this one.

The refrigerator has a lot of great qualities and lots of space. Some features that could be improved are: the icemaker doesnt make a lot of ice and making the selection between water cubed ice and crushed ice is difficult when the kitchen isnt totally bright as the choices arent lit. And when dispensing crushed ice it seems to spray a bit beyond a very wide glass. And the tiny diagrams showing cubed ice and crushed ice are very difficult to differentiate. And the cold water takes quite a while to come out cold initially its just a bit cooler than room temperature then gets colder but if youre getting 1/2 a glass of water it wont be very chillded. Also the bottom refrigerator bins cant be opened unless the refrigerator door is totally opened. It would be narrow to have a small pull out drawer for storage of small things like butter and cheese. But the the refigerator is attractive and seems of fairly good quality.

Bought new from Appliance Warehouse Ft Collins BIG MISTAKE couple months ago. Took twice as long for delivery as I was told. Door misaligned and unbalance. Door would slam shut. Several smashed fingers. Called Appliance Warehouse they advised I should contact the salesperson from whom I bought refrig. He no longer worked for this store. Traced him down and was advised to call LG service. Called them and was passed along to the delivery company of the refrig. Called them twice-no answer. Called LG service again and the rep. could not help. She offered to sent me the manual so I could fix the issue myself. I told her the refrigerator was under warranty. She suggested I call the warranty service company. Called them and was told to call LG. So. I will not buy the Dishwasher and Stove I was going to buy. I will never give LG or Appliance Factory my business again.

Liked its clean look and ample interior space. Bought it from Best Buy Christmas 2021. No major issue until Mar 2023. Not cooling and freezing as before. Working with LG reps via phone got inconsistent responses. No LG tech in Portland OR. Frontier of Texas busy and under staffed has a trained and considerate rep Steven in area. In the end he replaced computer board compressor both shipped to my house and condenser. After three visits the unit seems to be working now. The whole incident took over 3 weeks to resolve. Frontier took care all of paperwork and transactions with LG. That was much appreciated.

Poorly designed refrigerator section. It does not have a small pull out drawer for cheeses. bacon etc. To pull out the very bottom drawer you ave to bend totally down to the bottom of the drawer not the top to open it.

Dont over fill because it wont stay cool enough

I bought this in October 2022 and had to call a tech out within a month because it wasnt staying cool enough. After 2 trips out I was told I just cant over fill it thats what causes the temp to stay in the mid 40s when I have it set to 33 degrees. He replaced one part but put in the bill that he replaced 2 parts even though the second part he brought was the wrong one and he took it back with him. Replacing that part didnt make a difference. It still wont cool below 37 when set at 33 no matter how much food is in there. If I could return it and get a refund I would. I have never had this issue with any other fridge I have owned.

I bought this in November from Home Depot. The first delivery was damaged the second took forever. I finally got it it was put in place then I noticed another damaged spot on the back.. It was at the bottom and during inspection I didnt notice because the packing for shipping foam was still on it. Anyway it works good the beeping when the door is open for a while is annoying. Theres plenty of space but it should its quite large. The reason it didnt get 5 stars is because the front of the fridge SCRATCHES EASILY Im also dissappointed that when I bought it there was LG rebates on all the LG refrigerators for $200 in food purchased ... even though mine because of its size was one of the largest and most expensive it didnt qualify... So far I do mostly like the fridge not the way the front scratches and still not used to the handles being recessed.

This is the best refrigerator Ive ever purchased. It has more inside space than I can fill. Its simple no frills perfect fit for me and my family. I would recommend it highly to everyone.

Iam not real happy with all the noise the water and ice makes . I water lines when you press the water bangs on back of refrigerator and the ice maker is so noise threw out when making ice

We have never had a side by side but we are SO glad we purchased one this time. The freezer seems to hold more than our last appliance We had a fridge with the lower freezer. It was hard on the back and hard to access food that made its way to the lower part of the freezer. This appliances make more ice feature is very handy if you have company. Controls are in the front of the unit which makes them easy to access as well. It is also a very quiet unit.
