At Famous Tate, we go beyond just selling top appliances and mattresses — we make sure they’re delivered, installed, and ready to use with care and precision. Qualifying purchases include complimentary local delivery service and most in-stock items can be delivered in as little as 48 hours. From professional appliance installation to mattress setup and haul-away services, we provide a full-service experience designed for your convenience.
Most freestanding appliances $497 or more qualify for free local delivery and as long as you purchase the required accessories, the delivery team will also hook them up at no additional charge! Mattresses $599 or more qualify for free delivery & set up. Additional delivery charges apply to Built-in Refrigerators, professional style ranges and other luxury appliances and we offer installation solutions to make the process easy!

Get Ready for Your Delivery & Installation!
We respect your home and time!
We ask you to check the following after your purchase with Famous Tate so that you are ready for delivery from Famous Tate. Please make sure that our delivery team has a clear path to where your new appliance is being delivered. Measure all doorways prior to delivery to ensure the appliance will be able to go through the door. Make sure that all pets are locked in a safe area for their safety as well as our delivery team’s safety. We cannot enter a residence without being accompanied by someone you have designated that is 18 years or older.
Washers
Please check your cold and hot-water faucets. Make sure you can turn them on and off prior to our delivery. Our delivery teams are not plumbers. If the faucets cannot be turned to the off position or removed from the faucets, the delivery team will not be able to remove your existing washer and install your new washer.
We will not install your washer to your existing washer hoses due to a liability recourse. We will deliver, set in place and level the washer, but the drivers will ask you to connect the washer hoses if you did not purchase them from Famous Tate.
Electric Dryers
Please check the outlet we will be plugging your new dryer into. If we are installing your dryer, we will need to know if you require 3 or 4 prong cord. We use a 6ft cord which is standard length. If you need longer than 6ft you will need to let us know prior to delivery so that we can adjust your order and pricing for a longer cord. The vent we supply for dryers is 8ft long. We will deliver, set in place and level, but the drivers will ask you to connect the cord and or vent if you did not purchase the cord or vent from Famous Tate.
Gas Dryers
Famous Tate does not install gas dryers on a standard delivery. Gas products must be installed by a certified gas installer. Famous Tate can provide the names of the certified gas installers you can choose from and pay them directly for the installation.
Laundry Pedestals and Risers
If you purchase a front load washer and or dryer with pedestals, the height required for this application to work is 56 inches. If you purchase a front load washer and or dryer with risers, the height required for this application to work is 47 inches.
Ranges
Please check the outlet we will be plugging your new range. If we are installing, we will need to know if you require 3 or 4 prong cord. We use a 6ft cord which is standard length. We will deliver, set in place and level, but the drivers will ask you to connect the cord if you did not purchase the cord or vent from Famous Tate.
Many of the older ranges were installed with no outlet. This is called a direct wire installation. Our delivery teams are not electricians. If you have a direct wire application you will need to have an electrician, come out and put in an electrical box in place so that your new range can be plugged in.
Gas Ranges
Famous Tate does not install gas ranges or dryers on a standard delivery. Gas products must be installed by a certified gas installer. Famous Tate can provide you the names of the certified gas installers and you would pay them directly.
Refrigerators
Please locate where the shut off valve is for the water connection to your refrigerator. Make sure that the valve can be turned to the off position. Our delivery teams are not plumbers. If the valve cannot be turned off, they will not be able to remove your old refrigerator and connect the new one to the water line. Due to liability issues our delivery teams will not shut off your main water line. If this needs to be done, it will have to be done by you or someone else you have designated to take that responsibility.
Removal of old appliances
The delivery teams will not remove old appliances which are not in sanitary condition, including, but not limited to bug infestation. Removal of old appliances is one for one with your new purchase and they must be free standing appliances.
Mattress Setup & Removal
- New mattress and foundation setup in your desired room
- Removal and responsible disposal of your old mattress is available with purchase of haul-away service. Restrictions apply to some adjustable or special foundations, so just ask an associate for details.
Appliance Haul Away
We offer convenient haul-away service options for most old appliances. When you purchase a new unit and purchase the haul-away service, we’ll safely remove and dispose of the old one. This service is available in most areas and built-in products have restrictions, just ask an associate for details!
Extended Service Plans by Allstate
